Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Artifex Flow (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the ArtFlow plugin for Adobe Photoshop.

1. Local processing

Most ArtFlow features process Photoshop document structure, layer names, pixels, settings, and export files locally on your device. ArtFlow does not require an Artifex Flow account and does not include advertising or behavioral analytics.

2. Information stored on your device

ArtFlow stores preferences, presets, API settings, recent output locations, and workflow state in plugin-local storage. You can remove saved settings from the ArtFlow Settings page or by uninstalling the plugin. You are responsible for protecting access to your computer and Adobe profile.

3. Optional third-party services

ArtFlow connects to external services only when you choose a feature that requires them:

• Google Gemini API: AI naming and AI-assisted analysis may send prompts, layer names, document metadata, and preview images of selected artwork to Google's Gemini API.
• TinyPNG: PNG optimization may send PNG file content to the TinyPNG service.
• Google-hosted documents: when you provide a supported Google Sheets or Google Docs URL, ArtFlow retrieves the document content to build naming conventions.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Their fees, retention practices, availability, and security controls are outside Artifex Flow's control. Do not use an external feature with confidential artwork unless your organization permits the relevant provider.

4. API credentials

When you enter a third-party API credential, ArtFlow stores it locally so the plugin can make requests you initiate. Artifex Flow does not receive user-provided API keys through its own server. You may remove credentials at any time from ArtFlow Settings.

5. Files and output folders

ArtFlow accesses files and folders only after you select them through Photoshop's file picker or invoke an export workflow. Output remains in the location you choose.

6. Data sharing and sale

Artifex Flow does not sell personal information. We do not share plugin data except when you intentionally use a third-party feature described above, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users and the service.

7. Children

ArtFlow is a professional creative tool and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when ArtFlow features or legal requirements change. The latest version and effective date will be published on this page.
